Where it all started - thankfully you decided not to blank me on Hinge and it didn't take me long to find an excuse for needing your number… after I 'interviewed' you at the Fishery Inn we had a series of dinner dates at my flat, which was very much still in the making and without a dining room table! You were house hunting, and little did I know that one of the links you sent me would end up being the house I love sharing with you today! 🤗 I let my geeky side slip by annotating maps to give you directions to my flat, and sending you a Valentine's card over Google Drive, but that didn't put you off! 😂 Slowly we opened up, became increasingly relaxed in each other's company, and began building foundations for what's now the most special bond 💖

This period started with my first trip to Amersham, where I met my now adopted son, Shadow! 💜 I remember having a fabulous evening with you at the Swan before many more dinner dates throughout these months - from Wagamama to Tapas to you meeting me in Maoz in Oxford Circus over the weekend I worked on Glasto production 🤩 We took our first garden centre outing on the 1st May and in June had a day out at the Great Exhibition Road Festival outside the Science Museum (remember the bees? 🐝). Somehow we became slightly invested in Love Island as you geared up to complete on your house, and planning for our first holiday together began! 🏝

We entered July in different parts of the world - you were in Spain and I was in the slightly less glamorous Manchester for Krish's stag 😅 The highlight of July was our spa day at Aqua Sana, after which we tucked into a takeaway and booked Sardinia!

We began to introduce each other to our loves ones in August - we took a nice stroll around Highfield with my mum and Lisa on 7th, before heading to the farm with Jon, Lizi and Erin nearly a month later, on 4th Sept. 🐄

I LOVED our trip to the zoo mid-August (which inspired me to buy a fish tank 🐟), co-parenting Hugo for the weekend, and of course on 5th September you completed on the house purchase; we had lots of fun sharing furnishing ideas and suddenly we were within 15 minutes of each other 🏠

We took our first holiday to Sardinia towards to the end of September where we explored the beautiful island of Tavolara and met king Tonino! 👑 I remember coming back from that trip on top of the world and smitten with you 💑

October was a month of firsts - the first time you met my nan, your first outing at bingo and your first shift at Samaritans. We ended the month with a trip to the science museum where we were somewhat underwhelmed by the earthquake floor! 🌀

In November I had the privilege of planning your 30th! We headed to the theatre to watch Frozen and kicked back with a few cocktails in Basement Sate late into the evening. Some weeks later we headed to the Cotswolds with Jon, Lizi and Erin, who played with her new toy and danced with us at the Christmas fair. 🎪

On the 4th December we attended your brother and Lizi's orangery unveiling and the weekend after we made Christmas wreaths with my mum. Shadow and Bo had their first kiss 😘, we took a Christmassy outing to the Circus and ignited our Boxing Day tradition (now broken 😢) of eating Subway for lunch! 🌯

A packed end to 2022 with so many memories to cherish 🫶
